Piloo Mody College of Architecture, Cuttack Awards
Pritam Dey won the COA NIASA National Award for Excellence in Architectural Thesis at the zonal level in 2015 and was shortlisted among top 10 in 2016. His Design paper was selected for presentation at the prestigious International Union of Architects - World Architects Congress to be held at Seoul, Korea, 2017. Joydip Bar (B.Arch, 2017) was selected for Asia Young Designer’s Award 2016 (Stage 1). Ujjwal Kumar’s (B.Arch,2017) design has been selected as the official logo of FOSS4G Asia 2018. Satyabrata Jena and Abhisekh Sharma (B.Arch,2016) won a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh under "Odisha Youth Innovation Fund Scheme Govt. Of Odisha".
A team from PMCA comprising Ujjyant Bhattacharya, Priyanka and Srabantika (currently in final year) won a Special Mention in the 4th place in an International Competition held in Germany and was the only team from India to achieve this special feat. Another team of three from PMCA (currently in third year) participated and won the 3rd prize in the UNESCO IHCNF Student Competition 2017.
The college has also been a winner in the Zonal Convention of National Association of Students’ of Architecture on numerous occasions in the past few years and has also received recognition in the prestigious Reuben’s Trophy and Annual NASA Design Competitions.
