Established in the year 2010, PERI Institute of Technology is affiliated to Anna University and approved of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute was set up by the PERI Educational and Charitable Trust. Peri Institute of Technology courses includes 5 streams of Bachelors of Engineering and 4 streams of Masters in Engineering.
PERI Institute of Technology Admission Highlights:
- Candidates applying under any particular reservation category needs to produce the relative certificates. For example candidates applying under Tamilnadu native but had completed 10+2 from a different state needs to produce a native certificate, similarly, community certificate is must apply under some reserved community.
- Candidates qualifying 10+2 should have an aggregates minimum marks of 50 percent with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as mandatory subjects. Marks will be considered by adding both written and practical examination and taking out the average.
- Aspirants of other states including Pondicherry will be put in “Other Categories” and such candidates needs to fulfill the eligibility criteria mandated for “OC”.
- TNEA counseling is not needed for the candidates applying through Management Quota or NRI quota they will be selected directly on the basis of marks scored in 10+2.
- For admission in ME, courses candidate needs to have a valid GATE score or TANCET score and will go through TANCA Counselling.
- Candidates applying on the basis of TANCET score will be allotted the vacant seat left after the allotment of seats to candidates with valid GATE Score.
- Candidates with outstanding academic excellence are eligible to apply for "The M. Karuppanna Gounder Scholarship Program".

BE Admission at PERI Institute of Technology:
The PERI Institute of Technology offers a 4-year graduation degree programme in the field of Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and others.
- For admission in BE courses candidate needs to have an aggregate of 50 percent qualified 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
- Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in exam and TNEA counseling.
- For candidates of general category, TNEA application fee is Rs. 500 which is Rs. 250 for candidates applying through the reserved category.

ME Admissions at PERI Institute of Technology:
PERI IT offers 2 year ME degree programme in four streams and candidate needs to have a graduation degree in the relevant field.
- Minimum 50 percent in aggregate is required for admission and to apply for the entrance examination.
- Candidates with a valid GATE score will get preferences over candidates having TANCET score.
- Final allotment of seats will be on the basis of TANCA counseling.
