- BA LLB admission is through the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET).

- Selection of candidates for admission is based solely on AILET scores and the merit list.

- AILET LLM. exam tests law subjects only and some analytical abilities (aptitude).
- Admission is based only on the AILET merit list.
- Foreign Nationals/NRIs do not have to pass AILET and will be considered separately.
National Law University Delhi PhD Admission Process
- Admission is done through AILET (which has a Ph.D. paper) or UGC-NET/JRF/SLET/CSIR/UGC Fellowships.
- Candidates must hold LL.M. or equivalent master's degree and secure the prescribed minimum marks (generally 55% for General, and 50% for SC/ST/PwD).
- Shortlisted candidates may also be called for interview/viva.
