Placement: National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) reinforced its position as one of the leading business school by achieving stellar placements for the batch of 2014-16 in record time. In line with the summer placements, this year has seen a substantial increase in the number of first-time recruiters visiting the campus. The average compensation has also increased by 17% over the previous year. A wide spectrum of 115 companies from different sectors ranging from FMCG, Manufacturing to
Finance, E-Commerce and Consulting participated in the process.
Giants of the industry from various sectors have reposed their confidence in the quality and calibre of students from NITIE.
Faculty: 1. Prof. Som Chekhar Bhattacharya, Is a gem. His modern way of teaching makes his classes an experience in itself.
2. Prof. T. Prasad, Also called Mandi Sir is a mentor for all the budding startups at our institute with a philosophy of becho becho seekho
College: Located in the heart of Mumbai, surrounded by lakes and curtained from the hustle and bustle of the city by the lush greenery is a beautiful campus that produces some of the best managers for the country every year, and has been doing so for the past 50 years. The students call it the God’s own campus and the world outside knows it as NITIE.
NITIE is unique as it intakes students for 5 PG courses from the two most competitive exams of the country namely, CAT and GATE.
Primarily known as mecca of supply chain NITIE offers students to pursue careers in different sectors : FMCG, E-Commerce, Management Consulting, BFSI, Manufacturing, Information Technology etc.
