The admission procedure of the National Institute of Fashion Technology Bhopal commonly known as NIFT Bhopal is conducted through both online and offline mode. The institute also conducted NIFT Exam for admission to certain courses offered by the institute. There are various courses that NIFT Bhopal offers and the programs include Fashion Design and Clothing Technology (FDCT), Bachelor of Design (B. Des), and Master of Fashion Management (MFM).
NIFT Bhopal Admission Points to Remember
- Candidates seeking admission to any of the programs offered by the institute must ensure that they stand eligible as per the requirement of institute.
- The minimum eligibility for admission is to have passed senior secondary school from a recognized board.
- Candidates seeking admission to MFM must possess a diploma of 3 years or graduation degree of 4 years.
- Candidates seeking admission to FDCT will be shortlisted based on candidates’ performance in Personal Interview and Group Discussion rounds conducted by the institute.

NIFT Bhopal Admission to FDCT and B. Design
NIFT Bhopal Courses include FDCT and B.Design program. Candidates seeking admission to these programs will be shortlisted based on their performance in the entrance examination conducted by the institute. - The upper age limit for admission to these programs is 23 years (28 years for candidates belonging to reserved categories).
- Candidates possessing 3 – 4 years diploma recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or State Board of Technical Education will also be considered eligible for admission.
- B. Design course if of 4 years of duration while the duration of FDCT program is 1 year.
- Candidates seeking admission to B. Design and belonging to categories such as Foreign Nationals/ SAARC/ NRI must ensure that they qualify any SAT Entrance Examination.
- The total intake for both the programs is 30 each.
NIFT Bhopal Admission to MFM
NIFT Courses offer MFM program at the postgraduate level.
- Candidates seeking admission to MFM must possess a 3-year diploma or any 3- or 4-year graduation degree from a recognized Law University in the country.
- Candidates must know that final selection will be based on the marks obtained by candidates in NIFT entrance examination conducted by the institute.

NIFT Bhopal Application Procedure
Candidates seeking admission to any of the programs offered by the institute must complete the application procedure conducted through online mode. Below mentioned is the entire procedure candidates must follow to register themselves for admission:
- Visit the official website of NIFT Bhopal i.e. https://nift.ac.in/bhopal.
- Fill the application form available online on the portal of website and process the payment of application fee via Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
- Candidates can also process the payment of application fee via demand draft drawn in the favour of NIFT – HO payable at New Delhi.

Note* The application fee is INR 1500 (INR for SC/ ST/ PHP Candidates).
The list of documents that students must carry at the time of admission are mentioned below:
- 10th and 12th class mark sheets and passing certificates.
- Migration and Character certificates if required.
- Undergraduate degree mark sheet (for admission to MFM).
- Caste certificate
