About NIFT Bangalore Admission:
The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the NIFT 2024 results on 19 March 2024 for 5,289 seats across the NIFT campuses. The exam was conducted on 5th February 2024 for various UG and PG courses in 60 Cities and 72 centers in the country. Amongst the 5,289 seats, NIFT Bangalore will take admission for 381 seats including all the categories and Foreign admission.
NIFT Bangalore Admission 2024 is based on the NIFT 2024 entrance exam, comprising GAT, CAT, Situation Test/ GD, and PI. NIFT Bangalore is a top-tier Indian institute for Fashion Technology, ranked 3rd globally for Fashion Design by The Week and India Today in 2022. It offers B.Des, B.F.Tech, MFM, M.F.Tech, and M.Des degrees in various specializations, along with Continuing Education Programs (CEP).
NIFT Bangalore admission will start from May- June 2024 after the counseling. Applicants must meet NIFT eligibility criteria and attend counseling. Admission is confirmed after document verification and fee payment. Recently, the Interview for the Master’s Program (M.Des, MFM, and M.F.Tech) was completed on 6th April 2024. NIFT Bangalore Admission Process 2024
Admission to the NIFT Bangalore’s various courses requires an NIFT scorecard. Qualified candidates must attend the counseling rounds to get a seat in the NIFT Bangalore. The NIFT exam is divided into two groups-
(1) Online: Computer Based Test (CBT) - GAT
(2) Offline: Paper Based Test (PBT) - CAT.
B.Des is the flagship course of NIFT Bangalore, hence, candidates must complete the NIFT 2024 Application Process and take the exam. Here are the guidelines for the NIFT Bangalore Admission Process 2024:
- The NIFT Bangalore Admission Process is in Online mode. Candidates must apply online for the NIFT 2024 Entrance exam for admission.
- Candidates are shortlisted based on their NIFT 2024 test scores and academic merits. The selected applicants subsequently participate in the Personal Interview or Situation Test, depending on the program. Based on these tests, a cumulative score is determined for the Final Selection. Other courses have a minimum qualifying eligibility (based on the course-specific selection criteria) and must be fulfilled for admission.
- Based on the cumulative scores from all the selection rounds, NIFT Bangalore will publish the category-wise merit list on its official website.
- Selected candidates are eligible for the NIFT Bangalore Admission in 2024. Candidates can pay the course fee to lock and confirm their seats.
