Latest Update: Admission to both UG and PG programs at NICMAR Pune is now open for 2024. The deadline for applications is January 16, 2024. Apply Now. The application fee is INR 1,000 for undergraduate courses and INR 2,000 for postgraduate studies, per course. The dates of the NICMAR Pune PG Written Exam and PI are set for January 20–28, 2024. About National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR) Pune defines an easy admission procedure in which the candidates can register themselves for admission to different programs offered by the institute. The institute has been recognized as “Scientific and Industrial Research Organization”. The college, basically, offers various postgraduate programs under various specializations.

Admission Procedure of PGP NICMAR, Pune
NICMAR Pune offers postgraduate programs under various specializations namely Advanced Construction Management (ACM), Infrastructure Finance Development and Management (IFDM), Real Estate and Urban Infrastructure Management (REUIM), Project Engineering and Management (PEM), Contemporary Smart City Development and Management (CSCDM), Quantity Surveying and Contract Management (QSCM), Management of Family Owned Construction Business (MFOCB). The programs are full-time Postgraduate management programs.
- Candidates seeking admission to these programs must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering of any specialization securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university
- Candidates must appear and qualify NICMAR Common admission test with a valid score
- After they qualify the exam, they are advised to appear in the personal interview process for the further selection procedure
- Candidates can also submit valid CAT/GATE/CMAT/GMAT score
The National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR) provides admission to various full-time postgraduate programs along with an executive and part time programs. There are 5 campuses of the institute namely Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Goa. Candidates possessing a graduation degree in the relevant discipline will be considered eligible for admission to the program. The institute conducts NICMAR Common Admission Test also known as NCAT in order to shortlist candidates for admission.

About NCAT
The examination consists of three sections of 150 marks in total namely Quantitative and Analytical ability, Data interpretation and Verbal and general ability

NCAT Exam Pattern
NCAT exam is conducted by NICMAR for admission to the program offered by the institute. NCAT is a written examination with objective type questions. Below mentioned is the examination pattern with total marks allotted to each section:

NICMAR Pune Part Time Program Admissions 2021
- Duration of the program will be 11 months
- Basic eligibility criterion for admission is to possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
- Admission will be based on the merit list released by the institute.
- Mode of learning of this program will be distance mode.
- The program fee is INR 2,00,600.
There are two specializations under which the program is offered. Below are the specializations offered:

NICMAR Pune Part Time Program Eligibility
- Candidates seeking admission must possess a bachelor’s degree in any branch of engineering, technology, architecture, or planning.
- Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any non-engineering discipline will also be considered eligible for admission.
- Candidates must also possess work experience of 2 years.
- Candidates with diploma in any branch of engineering, technology, architecture, or planning are eligible for admission.
They must also possess work experience of 4 years on construction projects.
The college also offers part-time post-graduation programs and executive programs for working professionals. The selection decision is taken by the selection committee after the analysis of application forms. Candidates must have appropriate work experience. Executive programs are offered under four specializations namely Construction management, Project management, Infrastructure management, and Real estate management.
