About MCKV Institute of Engineering, Kolkata
MCKV Institute of Engineering (MCKVIE) commenced its establishment in the academic year of 1999. The college has been affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The college offers B. Tech program across six specializations at the undergraduate level and M. Tech and MBA at the postgraduate level. Besides, the college serves to be a partner of NPTEL and has even signed MoU for academic collaborations with IIT Kharagpur, an institute of national importance, TATA Power, SAK Robotix Lab, the start-up center of IIT Bhubaneswar, and some more.

The Central Library occupies a large room with a capacity of about 150 members. It has a rich collection of more than 23,000 textbooks and reference works on all relevant subjects. Some of the facilities include reprography, internet and instructional CDs. The library is fully automated with OnlineEasy public access (OPAC).
