Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences or better known as KIMS offers courses at UG and PG level such as MBBS, MS and MD. MS and MD are offered in various specializations such as MD is offered in Anatomy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Dermatology, Forensic Medicine, Paediatrics, Physiology, Pharmacology, Physiatry, Radiodiagnosis, Radiotherapy, Community Medicine, and MS in General Surgery, Microbiology, Obstetrics, ENT, Orthopaedics and Ophthalmology. KIMS Admission

  • Admission in KIMS is based on merit and entrance as well. Candidates applying for MBBS must have passed their 10+2 in PCB with minimum 50% and qualify NEET conducted every year.
  • Candidates who have a valid score in CET/COMEDK are also eligible for admission in KIMS.
  • For MS and MD, candidates must have completed their MBBS with one year CompulsoryRotating Internship in a teaching institution. 
  • Candidates must have registered their MBBS degree with the State Medical Council.  
  • Candidates interested in seeking admission in KIMS Bangalore must fill the application form available on the official website of the Directorate of Medical Education. 
  • Once the candidates have qualified NEET, they will be contacted via mail or call for a counselling session. 
  • During the counselling, candidates must carry their documents for verification. 
  • Upon verification, students will have to make the payment for admission.
