Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences also popularly known as KIMS was established in the academic year 1980 in Karnataka's capital, Bangalore. Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences or better known as KIMS offers courses at UG and PG level such as MBBS, MS and MD. KIMS Admission

Admission in KIMS is based on merit and entrance as well. Candidates applying for MBBS must have passed their 10+2 in PCB with minimum 50% and qualify NEET conducted every year.

Candidates who have a valid score in CET/COMEDK are also eligible for admission in KIMS.

For MS and MD, candidates must have completed their MBBS with one year CompulsoryRotating Internship in a teaching institution.

Candidates must have registered their MBBS degree with the State Medical Council.
