One of the prestigious college of Delhi University 5/5

ENTRANCE PREVIEW It was through 12th standard marks and cut off was decided by Delhi university. I chose this university because it is one of the top 10 DU colleges and has the best faculty. Teachers are also very interactive and ambitious. 7 /10 PLACEMENT WING Placement is not so good but no so bad. Average package per month goes around 20-25 thousand. I have personally not sitting for any placement so can’t explain more. But in mass media and communication many well known companies do come , as BMMC is one of the most prestigious course for our college and our college is known for this. 8/10 HOSTEL FACILITIES The Hostel facility is one of the best facilities which we can get from any of the Hostel. On every floor there is water cooler and on the two floors we have microwave. Sharing is on the basis of 2 seaters and there is also quad sharing which is generally for the first year. Food quality is also good. ALUMNI Many alumni I have seen , old teachers were there and students who are now in Delhi school of economics or London school of economics. 8/10 FACULTY Teachers are very well informed about the subject and its whereabouts. Teachers are passed our from very prestigious colleges. Saha Ma’am is very intelligent and well informed teacher in the department. We have male teacher and females teachers. Teacher help us to do some research work also. They are very helpful and motivational. I will assess the faculty of my college in one of the best faculty in DU. 7/10 CAMPUS LIFE There is no gender ratio as it is completely girls college. Diversity in the campus is there as you can see people from different states from Bihar to Mizoram. People who are physically disabled are also welcomed in our college and even the teachers. Many of the competitions keeps on happening which is very active. EXAM STRUCTURE Exam structure is very well defined. We have internals in which we get the chance to select the date according to the time table but it flexible in dates varies from department to department. External exams are also held very well. As you enter the college you will see the board in which sitting arrangement is displayed and you can go to your classes without much hassle. 10/10 COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW The course structure is very well stated and its very vast and deep too. It makes me understand the course from each perspective. The main part of my course are micro-economics , macroeconomics , statistics , economatrics , Indian economy and development , economic state and society, development the and experience and etc. 7/10 INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES No college doesn’t provide us any internship but it does provide us job for after graduation. Many companies come which varies from Pepsi Co. to urbanclab to Oberoi and etc. 7/10 COLLEGE EVENTS One of the main events which happen in my college is the Shruti- which is the college fest which occurs in March. And in Hostel we have guest night one of the annual function which occurs usually in February. Other events vary from department to department. For example economics department has arthagya in first week of March for 2 days and for BMMC department has parampara fest in the end of the March.

Overview 2/5

My college is archaic in its approach towards more visibility for the college. The school principal’s views are not in congruence with that of the students’ union which affects the scale at which events are organised. The college also faces a challenge in recruiting teachers, due to which the college lags behind in offering courses that other colleges in the university are better equipped to offer.

Overview 3/5

IP college is a great institution for humanities and social science courses. It however was a wrong choice for B. Com. Hons. The best part of the college is its swimming pool and its extra curricular activities. The worst feature is its location (far from the north campus and nothing nearby) and the fact that it is an all girls college.

Experience the Best, and Then be the Best. 4/5

It has one of the best infrastructures.  Several facilities like gymnasium, swimming pool, Wi-Fi, medical facilities are provided by the college. The food in the canteen is good and affordable. The whole of the college is bestowed with various plants and trees.

It’s worth its reputation 4/5

Sprawled over a beautiful green campus, a little away from the hustle bustle of DU’s north-campus, IPCW is an experience of its own. All your interests will be taken care of while paying utmost attention to your academic pursuit.
