Latest Updates at IIM Kozhikode: IIM Kozhikode has finished placing PGP-BL students for the class of 2023. The highest package made available for placements in 2023 was INR 43.9 LPA. Additionally, the provided packages had average and median values of INR 29.23 LPA and INR 25 LPA, respectively. It was noticed that more than fifty firms took part in the placement drive, and they presented the students with 66 offers, including 4 from abroad.

IIM Kozhikode Placements 2023: Sector-wise Placement Record
Here is a brief description of how the placement package has been divided between different sectors -
1. Consulting: The consulting industry became the leading industry for hiring. Consulting firms offered 33% of the bids. The consulting industry is arguably the one that MBA graduates want to work in the most. Approximately 33% of all bids made at IIMK this year were from the consulting cluster. Some of the long-term collaborative recruiters in this field who took part this year included Accenture, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, Everest Group, Experian, EY, KPMG, PwC, RedSeer, and Synergy Consulting.
2. FMCG companies offer positions in sales and marketing.
Major employers including Johnson & Johnson, L’Oreal, ITC, Marico, HUL, PepsiCo, Pidilite, Reckitt, Samsung, and Tech Mahindra enthusiastically participated in the sales and marketing domain. Information Technology & Analytics cluster, which contributed to 59 total offers, is another well-known cluster that hired a significant number of IIMK graduates. These positions were filled by employees from EXL Analytics, Jio Platforms, Mercedes Benz, Microsoft, Optum, Walmart, and ZED Entertainment.
3. Recruitment for General Management & Operations roles at Amazon and Flipkart
With 115 offers for General Management and Operations posts, employers continue to support the holistic pedagogy at IIM Kozhikode. Amazon, Capgemini, Flipkart, Rebel Foods, Reliance Group, Renew Power, and RPG Group are a some of the top employers in these fields. Aditya Birla Group, BLS International, and GMM Pfaudler all made their first hires in these fields at IIM Kozhikode.
4. BFSI sector has seen hiring more IIMK graduates
The BFSI cluster witnessed an impressive growth in opportunities offered at IIM Kozhikode. This year, 26% of the offers were made in the financial sector, which is a 73% increase from last year. Ambit Capital, Axis Bank, Bank of America, DE Shaw, Deutsche Bank, Equitas, JPMorgan Chase & Co, Nomura, NovaOne Capital, Standard Chartered, Yes Bank were some of the reputed financial institutions that hired IIMK graduates this year. Marquee recruiters like Equiris, Goldman Sachs, and Piramal Alternatives have offered Investment Banking and Private Equity roles.
