Indian Institute of Management (IIMI), Indore Admission 2025

The regular intake to the IIM Indore is strictly based on scores obtained in entrance examinations. The institute is particularly famous for its two-year, full-time, residential postgraduate diploma in management, more commonly known as MBA. Admission to this program is quite selective and the candidates are eligible based on their CAT score.

The minimum percentile in CAT that has been demanded for entry to IIM Indore in recent years has extended to 98% pointing out that the entrance is highly competitive. The admission cycle for the PGP program starts in parallel with the registrations for the CAT and other allied programs. Apart from the PGP, IIM Indore has provided many other programs which include the EPGP, FPM, and EPM.

The admission for Indian students to these programs is done through national-level tests like CMAT, GPAT, and IPMAT. In terms of academic programs, the institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate, diploma, and doctoral programs in the area of Management.

Indian Institute of Management (IIMI), Indore Cutoff 2024

Registration for CAT 2024 began on August 1, 2024. Admit cards will be available for candidates on November 5, 2024, and the exam will be held on November 24, 2024.

The selection process involves two stages, both of which are mentioned below:

Stage 1: To be considered for the WAT and PI rounds of the Stage 2 selection procedure, one must meet the minimum sectional and overall CAT cutoff requirements.

Stage 2: The composite score is determined by factoring the following: CAT 2024 score (20%), SSC score (34%), HSC score (40%), and Diversity Factor (6%), this will determine the IIM shortlist for the WAT-PI round. As per IIM Indore, the PI round will be held offline in the following cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, and Kolkata.

International students will require a score of at least 700 on their GMAT as of December 31, 2024.

Stage 1: Qualifying CAT 2024 and PI Shortlisting

Only those who will fulfill the requirements will be taken into consideration for Stage 2 of the IIM Indore admission process. A score that is equal to or higher than the sectional and overall CAT cutoff 2024, as stated below, is required.

Stage 2: Personal Interview

Applicants who meet the aforementioned cutoff criteria will be considered the stage 2 PI shortlist. In this case, the candidates who will be called for PI will determine the Composite Scores. Each of the following categories (General/EWS/NC-OBC/SC/ST/PWD) will have a sufficient number of candidates for PI shortlisted using the merit list created based on the Composite Score as indicated in the table.

Stage 3: Final Selection

Candidates who pass Stage 2 will be taken into consideration for the final stage. Following that, the Final Composite Score will be used to create a category-wise merit list and a provisional admission offer will be made in accordance with the reservation records.

Although stressful, demanding, and exhausting, campus life at IIM Indore is never monotonous. The kids have a busy schedule of lessons, homework, committees, and club meetings. Because IIM Indore is a fully residential campus, courses can be held at any time of day, whether it be late at night or early in the morning.
At IIM Indore, sessions typically start at 8.45 a.m. In order for the lessons to be more participatory, the students are expected to arrive on time and prepare for all lectures. There is a 15-minute tea break included in each 75-minute class. The students have some free time in the evenings, which they use to engage in enjoyable pursuits like athletics, campus exploration, and city trips.

The Student Activities Council (SAC), which is administered by the students, oversees the majority of the campus amenities at IIM Indore. In addition to managing all the cultural events, students also operate a fast food restaurant and a store for everyday necessities, giving them practical business management experience.
IIM Indore Hostel offers single accommodations in different blocks for boys and girls. Teak Cots and Mattresses, a Computer Table, Chairs, Closets, and Shelves are all included in the individual rooms’ furnishings. There are LAN connections in every room. Every day, restrooms, corridors, and rooms are cleaned.
