My journey through engineering 5/5

Hi All, I would like to share my experience of Gyan Ganga Group of Institutions, please spare a few minutes to read. I started my college in 2014, and was considered a 2nd grade students scoring only 56.6% in my 12th standard. Obviously, I did not have much expectations with my career, and was mostly going with the flow without any specific goal in mind. But, this college changed my perception completely, from the very beginning teachers were very motivating, bolstering me in every endeavour of my life. I still remember when my 1st semester result was declared, I was among the top 5 students of my batch with a cgpa of 7.5+. This sudden shift in my result from a 2nd grade student to one of the highest scorers can be attributed to the fact that my professors were always prompt in helping me. This high scorer streak continued till the end of my BE in 2018 with my aggregate cgpa being the 2nd highest in my batch. Although, it is usual for individuals to think that one who has a great score is not creative/productive outside the academic environment. For throwing a little light on my extracurriculars, I have cracked GRE with an aggregate score of 312/340, my TOEFL was 108/120, have published 2 papers, have co-authored 2 research thesis, have participated in 1 international conference, earned over 4 international certificates in different fields, have worked as an intern for MIT’s edx course offering of Mechanics Review twice, and was selected as an intern for making the summer school syllabus for Delhi state government schools. Moreover, this was not the end, by the end of my 7th semester I had 2 job offers in mainstream MNCs of India, and currently am working with one of them. All of these achievements would not have been possible without outstanding faculties who helped me throughout my BE CSE, it is difficult to mention all, but I would definitely like to mention a few: Pankaj Jain sir is the one I admire the most, he never lost faith in a 2nd grade student like me and supported me till the very end of my engineering. Saurabh Sharma sir, guided me throughout my engineering, taught me programming from scratch. Om Singh Parihar sir, was my TG and persistent motivator throughout my engineering. Dr. Neeraj Shukla sir, was VP of the college and an amazing faculity. Other Notable professors: Arun sir, Vivek Bade sir, Sameer sir, Vimmi ma’am, and others. I am proud to be an alumni of this group of institutions, and encourage everyone to join. Regards Rishabh Ojha
