Not worth joining!! 3/5

GVIT is a college that I would not recommend to students who are thinking of taking admission here. The college is fine upto second year but after second year, the teaching standards and other facilities degrades. I was a student of mechanical branch and passed out in 2015. In the college, there were no infra for core subjects after the second year. The Fee structure was around 35k per year. There are other fee as well such as university charges, per sem fee along with book fee. The total cost per year would come out to be around 45-50 thousand. The students are not awarded according to their talents and the management didn't seem to care enough regarding the situations going on in the college.

There are no placements as such. Not even a single company came for mechanical. And the reason why I feel so bad after studying here is because I'm still searching for a job.
Faculty 2.5/5

The faculty of the college is fine upto 2nd year. FOr Mechanical, it is an average college. The core subjects are taught up to the mark till second year. However, there was no M.Tech staff to teach the students. students used to teach that too who had not much experience. Even a few faculty members moved to other colleges. If I talk about the marks, they didn't give marks for practicals according to the talents and calibre of the students.

This college provides you nothing more than lot of time to review yourself. I felt there was many good and also bad thing about this college. Good Things about college:- 1) Most economical for poor students as fee was very low. 2) climate resembles like a village.
