Don Bosco Institute of Management (DBIM), Guwahati - Reviews

All my plans shattered beyond recognition! 2/5

When I first came to the institute, I was ecstatic to start with my MBA and be back to college after 5 years’ work experience in Wipro Limited, one of the most reputed IT/ITES MNC in India as well as abroad. But the excitement didn’t last long as I discovered that there has been an unhealthy competitive scenario created by the administration itself. There is ample amout of oppression in the institute. By reading the review, people might have a first thought that I can’t take the pressure of the course; but that’s not the fact. I have dealt with working under pressure for 14 hours a day for 6 months while working in Wipro Limited. I thought joining MBA from would open up avenues for me but I was mistaken. I should not have joined the institute when the program coordinator himself told me that the institute isn’t capable enough to place me in a reputed company with my desired salary expectations. So, if you’re a person with prior work experience, this is not the right place for you.
