Delhi School of Economics, commonly known as DSE, was established in the academic year 1949 to provide Higher Education, mainly in the field of Economics. It is considered one of the finest colleges of social sciences in India. The Delhi School of Economics - Delhi University is situated on the North Campus of the University in Maurice Nagar. The admission procedure of Delhi School of Economics Course Admission 2024Â is based on basic guidelines defined by Delhi University.
- Delhi School of Economics Admission to undergraduate programs such as BA and BA Economics depends on the score on the entrance test and senior secondary marks of the student in class 12th. The candidates need to have at least 45% marks in class 12th. Then students need to appear in the CUET exam conducted by the NTAÂ and go through the e-counselling afterwards.
- Delhi School Economics Course Admission for PG is done on the basis of DUET score. And the final selection is based on the performance of the candidate in the Personal Interview. For Delhi School of Economics admission to postgraduate programs such as MA Economics, the candidates are also required to hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
The organization of the Delhi School of Economics consists of the Department of Economics, Department of Sociology, Delhi School of Economics Geography Department and Department of Commerce. The departments of Economics, Sociology, and Geography are taken under the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Department of Commerce comes under the Faculty of Commerce and Business. Department of Economics was developed later, in order to strengthen the research infrastructure.
