The College of Technology, Pantnagar also known as COT, is a state government funded engineering college established in 1962. It is located in Pantnagar in the state Uttarakhand, India. It was established under the Uttar Pradesh Agricultural University and now it is called Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology. The College is one of the leading institutes in the World Bank project for Technical Education Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP) and is also the Regional Academy Centre of CISCO. The institute has ISO 9001:2000 certification. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The college ranks 34th in the university category and 52nd in the overall category according to the ranking of NIRF.

There are separate wings for different departments. The campus has many laboratories with the adequate instruments related to different aspects of Engineering.
Residential facilities are provided to the students as well as the staff. There are 8 hostels, 5 of them are for boys and 3 for girls and all the hostels have their own hostel mess, TV room and computer facility. Every hostel has its own court for sports such as basketball, volleyball, and badminton. Some of the hostels also have their own gym.
The faculty of the college is really experienced. Most of the members are post- graduates or PHD in their respective fields. The members are well qualified and experienced enough to make learning easier for students.
The college offers various programs in the field of Engineering & Technology and Computer Applications. It also offers Research program. College of Technology Courses include B. Tech, M. Tech, MCA, and Ph. D courses under different specializations. Thus, offering students a pool of options to choose from.
Various departments in the college offer 8 B. Tech Degree programmes. It includes Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Industrial and Production Engineering. Most of the students get themselves enrolled in the B. Tech degree program.
COT, Pantnagar offers 24 postgraduate programmes, which includes Master of Technology (M.Tech.) and Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.).
