Average college of Bengal. 3/5
Average college of Bengal. Faculty are supporting they help them in your curriculum activities and in your study. Some faculty are not good as well. Infrastructure is good. Blocks are separate for every stream. Average package is around 3 lacs. More company hire from cs, it, ECE, mech. Another branch placement is average.

If you want to ruin your career then please join bcet (b##d college of engg &tech we often call it by this name) placement is very poor in fact negligible, faculty are dumb and asshole not a worthy for engg take your time and make a good suggestions for any other college

Average College. Not field for sports. It was ones the top pharmacy college in West Bengal but day by day it decreases its position. Faculties are well knowledgeable. They are behaving like friends with us

Award for OUTSTANDING ENGINEERING INSTITUTE (EAST) BY ABP NEWS 2013 and 2012
Bengal College of Engg. & Technology, Durgapur, West Bengal, has been conferred OUTSTANDING ENGINEERING INSTITUTE (EAST) for three times in a row i.e. 2012, 2013 and 2014 by ABP News National Education Awards. This award is given at Taj Lands End, Mumbai in the presence of international dignitaries and Ministers.
NBA Accredidation
Bengal College of Engineering and Technology is the only college in West Bengal to be accreditated by NBA, New Delhi, under the new outcome based system of accreditation under the Washington Accord. India now holds provisional signatory status in Washington Accord, which is one step ahead of previously held observer status. This will enable Indian Engineering Institutes degree to be at par with the Engineering degree of other countries like USA, UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, etc.
NEN Championship Award
Bengal College of Engineering and Technology has been declared three times National Champions (2008 to 2010) and four times Runners up in National Entrepreneurship Week which is organised every year in the month of February. Apart from this, we have the entire year with lot many other programmes and activities like motivation talks by successful entrepreneurs, industry visits, mentoring sessions, live case studies, etc.
