Basundhara Teachers Training College is a unit of North Bihar Educational Trust. It was established in 2009 in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur. It is affiliated with Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University. The college offers Bachelors in Education which prepares students for the role of a teacher and is a prerequisite in schools and colleges. The college has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which is the statutory body for teachers education across the country. They make the plan of action and ensure its execution so quality education and training is provided which ultimately would make the children more knowledgeable and capable if taught by a resourceful and dedicated teacher. The college has the same vision to make the teachers more innovative and equipped.

Basundhara Teachers Training College Courses

B. Ed program -Basundhara Teachers Training College is known for the B. Ed course which is recognized by National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE-ERC) Bhubaneswar.

Eligibility -Those candidates who have graduated with minimum 50% with any discipline in arts, science or commerce are eligible to enrol themselves in the B. Ed course. 

Duration- The course is of two years duration where one year is meant for academics and the second year is for preparation for teaching aids and practice.
