Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT), Bangalore - Reviews

There is mix faculty. Some are very nice but most of them aren't upto the mark. Most of them are just passed out and joined as lecturer.

The only fest organised by college is MANTHAN. Its held in the month of April every year which goes for 2 days. Rest of the days are listless.

Only active club in the college is Rotract club which keeps the momentum going by organising small events frequently.

Some are great and some are only Ok but still, they all are expert in teaching the students

Placements are good, if you are in Computer Science and related stream. Core branches such as Mechanical, Civil, Electrical are average you might not find many companies onboard.

I cannot tell about all department but Mechanical faculty was great, especially some were way more interesting. Teachers of Computer Science and Civil were also good i know that because i had friends who used to talk alot about them.

At BIT there is a annual college technical fest called MANTHAN. It is not as big as you would expect but i heard from a guy there college is raising there fund.

There is rotary club where they donate old things to old or little people, efficycle where students make tricycle and race, and the most important Formula1 racing competition where they make a race car and get to race in europe. BIT is also part of SAE International it helps you learn about the automobile industry and events.
