About Babaria Institute of Technology, Baroda
Babaria Institute of Technology also known as BIT, Baroda came into existence in 2004. It is run and managed by the Shree Krishna Educational Charitable Trust (SKECT). The college is affiliated with the Gujarat Technological University (GTU) and approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It offers engineering programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in several specializations. The Student Start-up & Innovation Policy (SSIP) of the college has been granted Rs 60 Lacs by the Government of Gujarat. The college has been designated as the “Nodal Centre for Virtual Labs” in a collaboration of MHRD and IIT Bombay under the national mission of education.
