Asutosh College, Calcutta University is a government college and one of the oldest college of the university. The college is named after the freedom fighter Asutosh Mukherjee who was also called the Tiger of Bengal. A lot of courses are offered. Specifically for the BBA course the fees is higher than the other courses.

The fees of the college is feasible, it was very nominal like 5k Semester fees as admission fees and 2k as development fees. The infrastructure is just average. The course curriculum is good but bit too old fashioned.

There was no entrance examination required, to get admission you need to have good score in 12 standard board results. Selection was on the basis of cut off marks, the college infra is just average.

There was no hostel facilities in the college, the canteen is not upto mark, the campus is small and has only 2-3 buildings, the teachers are somewhat good. The management is good and supportive.

College is just average in terms of infrastructure ,there is nothing to boost about, the teachers are fine, the admission process is simple and it was based on 12th score, the management is ok.
