AMC Engineering College was set up by Paramahamsa Foundation Trust in the year 1999 at the ever-developing city Bangalore. The institute is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and accredited of AICTE, NAAC, NBA and also recognized by the Government of Karnataka. AMC Engineering College courses include a total of 22 courses under its B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA degree programmes. Candidates as per their preferences can select from the streams of Engineering, Management and IT.

AMCEC Campus is spread over 52 acres and easily accessible by the different modes of transport and there are separate academic divisions and allotment of buildings for all its departments. The campus is designed in a manner that it will accommodate all the possible and required facilities for the students.

AMCEC Admission is an online process and candidate needs to apply on the official website of the institute. Candidates applying for undergraduate degree need to have a qualified 10+2 and similarly to apply for postgraduate degree candidate must have a graduation degree from a recognized university. The institute also in association with iDream offers MBA + PGPEM dual degree programs. Admission in B. Tech courses is based on the score of JEE Main and KCET. For admission in Management courses candidate should have a valid score in National or State level Management Entrance Exams, which includes CAT / MAT / XAT/ KMAT/ ATMA or CMAT.

AMCEC Placement is one of the key attractions of the institute, the specially formulated placement, and training cell make sure that the students are provided with advanced excellence in training to promote placement and professionalism. It is the intensive training programme of the AMC Engineering College which makes it a preferred destination of many leading industries to hire new talents. Some of the major activities of the placement cell include:

• Placement of students through campus recruitments, off-campus recruitments, and pooled campus at various industries.
• Promoting summer and winter industrial training programmes for students during vacations.
• In the final year of the degree, it is mandatory for the candidates to have industrial training and they will be scored on the basis of that in the final examination.
