The registration for XAT 2026 will tentatively start in July 2025 and will conclude around November and the exam is all set to be conducted on January 4, 2026 (Sunday). The XAT 2026 is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur on behalf of the XAMI (Xavier Association of Management Institutes) to provide admission to MBA and PGDM programs offered by XLRI and other B-schools across India.
The question paper of XAT 2026 will be designed based on various major sections comprising Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Aptitude and General Knowledge. How to Register for XAT 2026?
- Visit and login to the official XAT website
- Click on the 'New Registration' link on the homepage and enter the required details
- A unique XAT ID and Registration link will then be shared to the candidate's registered email ID
- Click on the link to verify the registration
- Login using the credentials shared on the registered email ID
- Fill in the mandatory details like personal details, academic details, work experience details, XLRI program and Exam City Preference details
- Once done, the candidate needs to upload their documents - Photograph and Signature as per the specifications given
- The final step is to pay the XAT application fees. Once the fees are submitted, the application is considered complete.
Required Documents for XAT Registration
Certain documents are needed to fill out the XAT 2026 application form to furnish valid details. Below is the list of documents you should keep by your side for filling out the XAT form. XAT Selection Criteria 2025
The XAT 2025 selection process at the participating institutes of the exam will begin after preparation of the GD/PI list. The shortlisted candidates for the XAT 2025 cutoff will be eligible for selection at various colleges and institutes of XLRI, Jamshedpur. The XAT 2025 counseling will be conducted online. The XAT admission process at XLRI institutes in 2025 will follow the following steps.
