The Vidyadhan Intermediate Scholarship Programme Telangana 2025 is a scholarship programme of Sarojini Damodaran Foundation which supports talented students from economically weaker backgrounds. Students are eligible for the Vidyadhan Intermediate Scholarship Programme if their parents have an income of less than ₹2,00,000 per annum and they have cleared Class 10 in Telangana. The Vidyadhan Scholarship gives an amount of ₹10,000 or a maximum of ₹10,000 per annum.
The Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF) founder is S.D Shibulal, co-founder and ex- CEO of Infosys, along with his wife, Kumari Shibulal, the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF) implements programmes that support disadvantaged youth, giving them access to quality higher education.While in whatever form it takes, supporting those with the intention of becoming future leaders is meaningful work so their impact right now and into the future is needed to help bridge the education gap that exists in society.
Eligibility Requirements
Students interested in applying for the Vidyadhan Intermediate Scholarship must be able to demonstrate that they are eligible according to the educational and financial criteria. The objective of this scholarship is to help deserving students who have low income families and have demonstrated outstanding performance in the Class 10 examination.
To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must:
- Reside in Telangana
- Have completed the Class 10/SSC examination in 2025
- Secured at least 90% marks or a 9 CGPA in Class 10/SSC examination
- (For students with disabilities, the cut-off is 75% or 7.5 CGPA)
- Family income must be less than ₹2,00,000 per annum from all sources.

Documents Required
The student must upload scanned copies of documents for verification of eligibility in accordance with academic performance and family income to apply for the Vidyadhan Scholarship.
Scanned copies of the following are required as proof:
- A recent photograph of the applicant
- Class 10/SSC marksheet (2025 pass-out)
- Previous income certificate provided by an appropriate government authority
- (Note: The Ration card cannot be used for income verification)
How to Apply
Eligible applicants will apply online through the Vidyadhan Scholarship Portal. The sign up and application process is uncomplicated and entirely online, thus any relevant details and documents can be uploaded in a timely and efficient manner.
To register and to apply for the Vidyadhan Intermediate Scholarship Program, please follow the below steps.
- Go to the Vidyadhan website at www.vidyadhan.org
- Click on "Register" to create a username and password using your email id.
- Create your account through the email sent to your email id.
- Log in and fill in the scholarship application form and include personal, education and income details.
- Upload the documents asked for, by the organisation (10th standard Mark Sheet, Income Certificate and Photo).
- Submit the application and note your application number.
Selection Criteria
Vidyadhan Telangana’s selection process is intended to effectively and transparently select and support academically talented and financially needy students in a clear and merit-based process.
The selection process consists of several stages:
- First Online Screening based on academic achievement
- Academic merit (Class 10 marks minimum 90% or 9 CGPA, minimum 75%/ 7.5 CGPA for differently-abled; family income eligibility (under ₹2 lakh per annum)
- Issuance of Forms and Documents
- Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF) to review dossiers for confirmation of authenticity and eligibility.
- Short-listing candidates
- Candidates passing both the above criteria will be invited to join the next step
- Online Test and Interview
- short-listed candidates will participate in a short online test and an interview, to assess aptitude motivation, and communication.
- Final Selection by the Foundation
- The Sarojini Damodaran Foundation will make the final decision based on the totality of all matters.
- Notification & Disbursement
- Email notification is sent to successful scholars, funds will be disbursed to scholars’ bank accounts at ₹ 10,000 per annum.
