Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be an Indian citizen living in Nagaland
- Applicants need to have permanent residence in the state of Nagaland, and need to be legally recognized as a citizen of India.
- Must belong to a recognized Naga tribe
- The scholarship is strictly open to students from any recognized Naga tribe, in promoting indigenous identity and inclusivity.
- Must not be over 20 years of age at the time of application
- At the time of application, an applicant should be under 20 years old if they expect to access undergraduate education in a timely manner.
- Must have obtained at least 70% in Class 12 board exams.
- Every applicant is assessed based on their academic merit. Applications must be submitted with proof of a minimum of 70% marks achieved in the Class 12 (HSSLC) examinations from a recognized board.
- Must be from a low-income family (annual income ≤ ₹2,00,000)
- We consider socio-economic status as a key criterion, we wish to support economically disadvantaged students. The applicant's family annual household income should be less than ₹2,00,000, and is required to provide proof of this income.
