Parul University hosts India’s Largest Startup Carnival: Vadodara Startup Festival 6.0 to Power Outcome-Driven Innovation

Vadodara- based Parul University successfully hosted the sixth edition of the Vadodara Startup Festival (VSF 6.0) and once again reinforced its position as a premier innovation and entrepreneurship hub in the state of Gujarat. The three day festival brought together investors, students, corporates, policy-makers and innovators, creating a vibrant ecosystem for ideas, collaboration, and business opportunities at the campus.

Vadodara Startup Festival 6.0 brought in more than 30,000 people during the three days. The festival had more than 200 startups, 50+ expert speakers, 25+ investors, and more than 100 industries participating in cooperation. Through the 150+ one-on-one monitoring sessions, the founders were granted priceless mentorship, while over 75 ecosystem partners were offered guidance and incubation support. The flagship Startup Nivesh 2.0 helped in attracting more than ₹10 Crore in funding thereby making VSF 6.0 a great platform for business opportunities and strengthened Vadodara’s position as a vibrant hub of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The startup Nivesh 2.0, connected startups with great potential and visionary investors. It provided open pitching, one-on-one meetings, and live expert feedback to unlock funding and strategic partnerships. The startups also got the benefit of the mentoring and incubation support given by PIERC (Parul Innovation & Entrepreneurship Resource Center), which was instrumental in guiding the very early-stage founders. Besides funding, VSF 6.0 gave an experience driven by the outcome, assisting the startup owners in transforming their concepts into large-scale businesses through well-planned pitches, mentorship, masterclasses, exhibitions, and high-energy competitions.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri. Bipin Talati, IAS, Commissioner of Technical Education, Government of Gujarat as the Honorary Guest, who also visited the start-up exhibition and interacted with them.Besides that, the festival had great speakers such as Lt. Gen. A. Arun (Retd.), and Mr. Dayakar S. Murthy Director, Strategic Partnership, National Entrepreneurship Network, Wadhwani Foundationalong with the pioneers from corporate and startup sectors like Gopal Snacks Limited, Solnce Energy, Booz Mobility, ZebraLearn, and the Former CEO, SINE, IIT Bombay, Paytm, and Fun2Do Labs, who shared insights from their entrepreneurial journeys and strategic guidance, thus motivating founders and opening a way for startups towards innovations, collaboration, and sustainable growth.
