Parul University hosted “Chrysalis Dreams 2026,” offering final-year Fine Arts students a creative platform to showcase their artwork.
“Chrysalis Dreams 2026,” an annual degree show organised by the Parul Institute of Fine Arts, created an unforgettable experience by presenting years of artistic development and highlighting the journey of final-year Bachelor of Visual Arts students. The artworks, developed by students from the Department of Painting and Sculpture, reflected their individual experiences and personal stories.
The exhibition featured creations by several emerging artists, including Htein Lin, Vaishnavi Sahu, Prutha Morsania, Sania Memon, Anushka Chavan, Kirti Gautam, Gauri Chauhan, Devyanshi Chauhan, Mansi Rajpurohit, Sahil Parmar, and Syed Zaheen Abid, among others. Addressing themes such as identity, memories, spaces, emotions, and human experiences, each painting and sculpture carried a unique artistic voice. These works were the result of dedicated effort in studios and thoughtful engagement with modern art theories, enabling students to transform their ideas into compelling visual expressions.
Expressing her views on the event, Parul Patel, Vice-President & Chairperson (Student Affairs & Administration) at Parul University, stated, “Apart from highlighting their art skills, these paintings and sculptures exhibit the bravery of our students who have dared to think, ask questions, and develop themselves. The story depicted in every artwork is the result of their life experience.”
