OUAT Entrance Exam 2024: The OUAT Application Form 2024 for UG courses is expected to be released in between April and May 2024 for both UG and PG Courses. OUAT Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must complete 17 years of age before applying for the OUAT Exam 2024
  • To enroll in a BSc program at Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, candidates must have completed their Class 11 and 12 studies with Science, obtaining a minimum aggregate score of 50%, including additional optional subjects. 
  • However, candidates who have applied for admission under the SC/ST/PH category must have secured a minimum of 40% marks in their qualifying exam. In addition to the above requirements, applicants must have studied the following subjects to be considered eligible for admission to OUAT in 2024:

OUAT has additional eligibility criteria for BSc admissions through its entrance exam, which are listed below:

Aspirants must have passed the HSC or equivalent examination with Odia as MIL.

  • If candidates do not have Odia as their MIL but their parents are permanent residents of Odisha, they must provide evidence of permanent residency in the form of a certificate from the concerned Revenue Officer (not below the rank of Tahasildar/District Magistrate/their employer).
  • If candidates do not have Odia as their MIL and their parents are not permanent residents of Odisha but are serving under the Govt. of Odisha/Central Govt. /Public Undertaking or any University in the State of Odisha, they must provide a certificate from the Head of the Office/Institution where their parent(s) is/are working to confirm the same.
  • If Odia students permanently reside outside Odisha, they must provide a certificate confirming their Odisha origin either from their employer/Tahasildar/District Magistrate (of the district in which they reside) or from the Tahasildar/District Magistrate of their native place in Odisha.
  • The eligibility criteria in points 2 and 4 above do not apply to ICAR/VCI nominees, foreign candidates, state government-sponsored candidates, or children of OUAT employees.

  • Candidate must complete 17 years of age before applying for the OUAT Exam 2024

  • To register, candidates need to provide a valid email address, mobile number, and Aadhaar number/enrollment number.
  • Candidates must ensure that they enter the correct mobile number, as the institution will send an SMS for authentication purposes using OTP.
  • Once the registration process is complete, the application form will appear on the screen. Candidates need to fill in personal details (name, gender, date of birth, religion, category, etc.), academic information, and communication information (address, email ID, and mobile number).
  • After completing all the necessary fields in the application form, click 'Register and Proceed.' A computer-generated application ID and password will be sent to the registered mobile number via SMS.
  • On the applicant's login page, candidates should use this unique ID and password as their login credentials.

Step 2: Payment of Application Fees

  • All applicants must pay the non-refundable application fees for the OUAT 2024 common entrance test. Payment can be made both online and offline.
  • To pay online, candidates can use a debit/credit card or net banking. Alternatively, they can pay in cash at a Common Service Center (Jana Seva Kendra) near their location.
  • The application fee is INR 1500 for all categories of candidates.
  • Candidates must provide the relevant payment details on the bank website, save the transaction receipt, and print it for future reference.

Step 3: Uploading Images and Documents
