NIIT University (NU) invites applications from deserving candidates from around India for undergraduate admissions for 2025-26. The eligibility criteria for candidates applying to the Scholarship-cum-Admission Seat program are:
Eligible Programs:
- B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Cyber Security, Biotechnology, IoT & Automation
- BBA (3 year program)
- Dual Degree Integrated MBA (5 year program post-Class 12)
Educational Qualification:
- For B.Tech programs - 55% aggregate minimum in both Class 10 and Class 12 (with subjects in PCM/PCB/PCMB)
- For BBA & Dual Degree Integrated MBA- 50% aggregate minimum in both Class 10 and Class 12 (any stream)
General Requirements:
Candidates with valid score/rank in any one of the following entrance tests will also need to fulfill this requirement.
- JEE Main
- BITSAT
- SAT
- CUET
- IPMAT
Any recognized State-level Engineering Entrance Exam
Scholarship Opportunity:

Scholarship Benefits
Students who qualify can be awarded up to a 100% tuition fee waiver for the duration of their programme from NIIT University:
- B.Tech – UPTO 4 years,

- Dual Degree Integrated MBA – UPTO 5 years,
The amount awarded as a scholarship will be based on a holistic assessment of each applicant's academic performance, exam scores, and eligibility criteria.
Documents needed
When applying for NIIT University's Scholarship-cum-Admission Seat Programme, applicants must upload the following documents
- A recent passport-sized photograph
- Class 10 mark sheet (as record of the applicant's academic record and eligibility)
- Class 12 mark sheet (if available or it can be submitted when it becomes available)
- Entrance exam scorecard (if applicable, e.g. JEE Main, BITSAT, CUET, SAT, IPMAT or other state-level recognized exam)
- Income certificate (not a requirement but may be used to justify financial need based scholarship)

- Application Assessment
- Once a candidate submits an application, the selection committee carefully evaluates each application for a candidates academic record, entrance exam performance, income-related needs (if any), and availability of seats in the candidate’s selected programme.
- Shortlisting of Candidates
- Shortlisted candidates will then be contacted for document verification as well as be invited for a telephonic or video interaction to help assess the candidate’s aspirations and background in addition to their suitability for the programme.
- Final Selection and Verification
- Final selection will include document verification for shortlisted candidates, which will be facilitated by Buddy4Study, NIIT University’s partner that will assist with scholarship facilitation.
- Confirmation of Admission
- Successful candidates will receive all the information on how to complete NIIT University’s online admission form and officially confirm their seat in their selected undergraduate programme.
