What is NEET MDS?

NEET MDS stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) every year for admission to MDS courses in dental institutions in India.

The exam is a two-hour, objective-type exam consisting of 240 questions, each carrying 1 mark. The questions are divided into two sections: Section A (100 questions) and Section B (140 questions). Section A consists of questions on General Knowledge, English, and Quantitative Reasoning, while Section B consists of questions on Dental Sciences.

NEET MDS Exam Date: New Updates

  • Result: The NEET MDS result will be declared on July 10, 2023.
  • Counselling: The NEET MDS counselling is scheduled to be conducted in the month of July 2023.

Previously, NEET MDS exam was held on March 1, 2023. Furthermore, NEET MDS admit card has been issued on 22 February 2023.

NEET MDS: Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria for NEET MDS:

  • The candidate must have passed the BDS degree from a dental college recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
  • The candidate must have completed at least 1 year of internship after completing the BDS degree.
  • The candidate must have a valid registration with the DCI.

NEET MDS Syllabus:

The NEET MDS syllabus is a comprehensive and challenging syllabus. It is important for candidates to prepare thoroughly for the exam by studying all of the topics in the syllabus. The NEET MDS syllabus is divided into two sections: Section A and Section B. Section A consists of 100 questions, each carrying 1 mark, on General Knowledge, English, and Quantitative Reasoning.
