The MYSY scholarship, also known as the “Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana”, is an initiative introduced by the Gujarat State Government. It aims to support financially disadvantaged students who are residents of Gujarat in pursuing their higher education. Additionally, apart from the MYSY scholarship, the state government offers various digital Gujarat scholarships for the residents in 2024.
For MBBS students eligible for the MYSY scholarship, they receive INR 2,00,000 per year or 50% of their tuition fees. Meanwhile, those enrolled in diploma courses receive an annual benefit of INR 25,000. The last date to apply for the MYSY scholarship for the 2023-24 academic year is January 31, 2024.
