MPTAAS is known as the Madhya Pradesh Tribal Affairs Automation System. It’s a scholarship provided by the state government of Madhya Pradesh to students belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe. A Computerization project of schemes and processes run by the Tribal Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh, it offers financial assistance to students from lower strata.
It is an online platform where various MP TAAS scholarships are available to students of ST/ SC/ OBC backgrounds. The portal serves as a platform for post-matric all domicile students or permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh. The principal objective of the scheme is to foster higher education among such students. The monetary benefit of the scholarship is sent directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiary students.

Eligible and selected students for the MPTSAS Scholarship will be offered category wise scholarships. The scholarship is not the same for students residing in hostels and day scholars. The scholarship has been categorized into 4 groups according to streams.

The following documents are required for applying to the MPTAAS Scholarship:
MP TAAS Portal Login – www.tribal.mp.gov.in/MPTAAS
The MPTAAS system transfers the scholarship amount benefits directly to students’ accounts. Moreover, MP Education Gyan Deep provides regular updates on scholarship amount transfers. You are eligible to receive the amount after the online application process is successfully completed. The Madhya Pradesh Tribal Department issues the order for the MP TAAS online transfer. Date and time of the scholarship amount transfer is updated to the eligible students just after the successful completion of the MPTAAS application.
To receive the scholarship grant, it is obligatory to complete the e-KYC process post-registration for all the applicants. You are required to verify the Aadhar details to complete the process. This can be done directly on the scholarship portal in 2 ways. The 1st approach is via OTP, or one time password and the other way is through the biometric.
The e-KYC process links your mobile number with the Aadhar card. After that, you will receive all the notifications via SMS after the process completes. Follow these steps for e-KYC for MP TAAS:
