The Mohan T Advani Centennial Scholarship Programme is a flagship programme of the Blue Star Foundation to support students from underprivileged backgrounds across India. The programme is dedicated to the founder of the company and sporting great visionary Mohan T Advani and supports students pursuing undergraduate studies or diploma courses in engineering and architecture.

Students in recognized government and private institutions who are in first year or second year can apply for this scholarship. Selected students can receive a one time only scholarship of up to ₹1,00,000 which will help students with financial hardship, and allow them to progress in their technical education if they are selected for this scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements

The Mohan T Advani Centennial Scholarship Programme provides funding to students enrolled in a diploma program in architecture or engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Production Engineering; Civil Engineering is not eligible). Eligible applicants should:

  • Be enrolled in a diploma program in architecture or engineering.
  • Have a good academic track record.
  • Normally have at least 70% in Class 10 or Class 12 and 75% (7.5 CGPA) in first year if you are a second-year diploma student.
  • National Project
  • Girls' Education - 50% women candidates wherever possible
  • Be enrolled in colleges recognized by Blue Star Foundation.
  • Have an annual family income of less than ₹ 6 lakh (for West Zone colleges, we will consider up to ₹ 10 lakh if requested).

Scholarships Benefits

The Mohan T Advani Centennial Scholarship Programme has significant funding available to support eligible students in completing their education in engineering and architecture fields. There is enough funding available to reduce worries about financing the education of deserving students.

  • Scholarship amount is INR 40,000 or 90% of the annual tuition fees, whichever comes first.
  • Scholarship supports educational costs for students, helping to lessen financial burdens for students and their families.
  • The scholarship reduces a student's vital educational worries allowing students to concentrate on their studies.
  • The scholarship encourages enrollment and retention of students enrolled in engineering and architecture diploma and degree programs.
  • The scholarship is gender equitable with a minimum requirement of 50% female beneficiaries.

Documents Required

In order to complete the application for the scholarships Mohan T Advani Centennial Scholarship Programme (diploma courses), an applicant must provide valid documentation for assessing their academic qualification, financial condition, and identity.

You will be required to submit the following documentation:

  • Mark sheets for the previous two classes/semesters/years pertaining to your diploma course.
  • Receipts for the educational fee or demand drafts issued by the college.
  • Proof of family income (one of the following): income tax return, salary slip, form 16, BPL/ ration card, income certificate from government authority, or relevant certificates for agricultural income.
  • Affidavit for orphans (if applicable) or single parent's children (relevant).
  • Proof of identity and proof of address (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License) and a recent passport size photo.
