MHT CET 2025 PCM Re-Exam Scheduled for May 5 Due to Errors in April 27 Paper

The authorities received complaints of about 20 question being wrong in the April 27 exam as as a result of this, the same MHT CET exam will be conducted again on May 5. The authorities stated that these errors in MHT CET exam took place out of a technical glitch and no correct answer was provided in options for many questions.

Candidates are advised to adopt the formal grievance redressal process in case problems occur during the exam. According to the MHT-CET 2025 Information Brochure, applicants are to inform the invigilator within the exam block if they face any problems they face, for example, wrong questions or administrative errors. The venue officer, who has been appointed by the State CET Cell commissioner and is on duty from 7.30 am until the exam ends, is alerted by the invigilator. Exam Structure

The question paper comprises 200 marks, with each section (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) containing 50 questions.

Result Processing

Post-review, answer sheets were updated based on valid objections. Results were declared using the percentile method, ensuring no negative marking and no grace marks awarded.

Note: The three multiple-choice question (MCQ) question papers in the MHT-CET 2025 PCM exam, designed for assessing aptitude in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, carry a mark of 100 each. The PCM group consumes 180 minutes in total, out of which 90 minutes are for physics and chemistry and 90 minutes for mathematics. With the difficulty level being comparable to JEE (Main) for PCM subjects and without any negative marking, the syllabus formulated by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Maharashtra, allocates 20% weightage to the Std XI curriculum and 80% to the Std XII curriculum.
