MAT 2025 Important Items to Carry to the Exam

There are several important items that students must carry to the MAT examination center. Students can face a lot of hassle and problems if they do not carry some of these essential items to the MAT examination. Provided below is a list of some of the essential items that students must carry with themselves on the day of the MAT exam.

The exam-day items for students to carry are as follows:

• Admit Card: This is the most important item for students to carry. Without the MAT admit card, students will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. The admit card is very important for students to be able to verify their identities. The admit card contains several important pieces of information about the students including their application number, exam timings and exam-mode. Students must ensure they download and print out their MAT admit cards before going to give the examination.
• A Government-Issued Photo ID:Students must carry any government-issued ID to the MAT exam center as well. This document must also be carried for identity verification purposes. There are several documents that students can choose to carry. These include a student’s Aaadhar Card, PAN Card, Driver’s License, Voter-ID Card or Passport, to name a few.
• Passport-Sized Photograph: Students will also be required to carry a passport-sized photograph to the MAT exam center for attendance purposes.
• Blue/Black Ballpoint Pen:The only piece of stationary that students must carry to the MAT examination hall is a blue or black ballpoint pen. In the CBT mode, students will only need a pen to do rough calculations on a sheet that will be provided by the exam invigilator.

MAT 2025 Prohibited Items That Students Must Not Carry

While there are important items that students must carry with themselves to the MAT exam center, there are several items that students must ensure they do not carry as well. Personal belongings should not be carried as there is no space to store them in the exam center, leaving them at risk. Any form of electronics can be considered cheating by the exam authorities. Carrying any of the prescribed prohibited items to the MAT exam center can result in severe consequences, including getting a student’s examination cancelled.

• Backpacks
• Food (unless diabetic or any other medical condition)
• Rough Sheets
• Any Form of Study Material
• Any Valuable Personal Belongings
• Wallets
• Clothing Items with Too Many Pockets
