Introduction

DRDO Scholarship Plan 2025 for Under Graduate and Post Graduate Girl Student
The DRDO scholarship scheme for Girls is being offered by the Research and Development Wing of the Ministry of Defence through the Aeronautics Research and Development Board scheme.
- It offers an unlimited capacity of 30 scholarships. Of these, there are 20 for undergraduate students and 10 for postgraduate students.
- The total amount of funding is ₹ 1,20,000 a year for undergraduates,
- whereas the total amount of funding is ₹ 1,86,000 for postgraduate students.
- This scholarship is created to empower and enable deserving women students to pursue careers related to engineering and defence.

- Students who are female and enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree (4 years) in the following fields are eligible.

The selection process for DRDO Scholarship for Girls 2025 will solely be based on the merit for academics/standardized tests.
Selection Protocol:
Undergraduate Candidates (B.E./B.Tech./BSc. Engg.):
- Selection will be based on the JEE (Main) score.
- To be eligible, applicants must be in possession of a valid JEE Main score.
- Candidates who do not have a valid JEE score shall not be eligible.
Postgraduate Candidates (M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc. Engg.):
- Selection will be based on the GATE score on a merit basis.
- To be a valid candidate, applicants need to have a valid GATE score.
- Candidates without a valid GATE score cannot be considered.
