The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) started the NEUT counselling 2025 registration on June 23, 2025, at 10 AM at csab.nic.in. This counselling is especially for candidates from eight northeastern states, i.e., Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura, and five Union Territories: Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Ladakh, and Lakshadweep. The candidates who are eligible and want to seek admission into undergraduate engineering, technology, architecture, and pharmacy courses at AICTE-approved institutions can register up to June 30, 2025, by 5 PM.
Registered applicants are required to log in using their JEE Main 2025 application number and password and fill in the required personal details, such as category and domicile. Seat allotment will be based on JEE Main ranks, candidate preference, and seat availability. There are around 2000 seats in engineering in eight states in the northeast and another 740 seats throughout the nation under the NEUT category. The first seat allotment is to be published on July 15, 2025. There are to be two main rounds of counseling with a probability of a spot round based on unavailability of seats.

- Photo Identity (Aadhaar card, passport or Driving license)
- JEE Mains 2025, Admit card (not applicable for pharmacy)

How to Register for CSAB NEUT 2025?
- Visit the CSAB NEUT website: csab.nic.in
- Select the CSAB NEUT link which is available on the home page
- Select the applicable counselling link based on the course which you applied for (Engineering/Architecture or Pharmacy)
- Select the option for new candidate registration and log-in using your JEE Main 2025 application number and password
- Provide personal details, including applicant name suffix, gender, category, nationality, date of birth, and contact details
- Provide your Class 10 and Class 12 academic qualifications, including details of standard, marks obtained, and name of board.
- Select the appropriate state or UT of eligibility (domicile) and upload relevant certificates listed in the instructions
- Upload scanned copies of all required documents in the specified format and size
- When the choice filling opens, choose your preferred institutes and preferred branches
- Confirm all the entered information and the uploaded documents before you submit it all
- Submit your registration form and download the confirmation page for your reference.
What After CSAB NEUT Counselling 2025 Registration?
After registration, state or UT authorities will verify your documents from April to July 4. The last date for candidates to fill their choices is July 9. The seat allotment for round 1 will be available on July 15.
Candidates will have to confirm the seat and choose verify, freeze, float, or slide, pay seat acceptance fee, report online and finally confirm the stage verification at the institute assigned.
