Tips to Crack Campus Placements at Christ

How to Prepare for Interviews and Aptitude

Start early: Practice aptitude from your second year (for UG students).

  • Use websites like CoCubes, AMCAT, IndiaBix, and PrepInsta.
  • Quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and English reading practice.
  • Mock interview and resume practice by the CDC.

Knowledge about the company: Study well prior to each interview—particularly roles, culture, and up-to-date news.

Role of Networking and LinkedIn

  • Make your LinkedIn profile optimized with the right headlines, descriptions, and skill words.
  • Network recruiters and alumni—a number of internships and off-campus jobs are word-of-mouth.

Christ-specific forums and groups on sites like LinkedIn, Discord, and Telegram.

Realistic Expectations and Fall-Back Plans

Not everyone is going to be getting dream jobs right away—be willing to take the small firms and lateral entry. Use the placement as a stepping stone, not an end point. Create a good profile with certifications (Coursera, Udemy, NPTEL), internships, and portfolio projects. Get prepared for off-campus placements, especially in niche fields or creative streams.
