Kalasalingam University Admission
Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (Kalasalingam University), which was previously known as Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering, accepts an online mode of application. The university primarily offers programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. There is a PhD program as well which is offered at the Doctorate level.

Admission to the Undergraduate Programs
Kalasalingam University Courses include several programs at the undergraduate level. These programs are offered in the field of Technical, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, Business Administration, and Computer Applications.
Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in respective entrance examinations.
- For admission to the B. Tech program, the candidates must qualify Kalasalingam University Entrance Examination (KUEE) conducted by the university itself.
- For admission to the B. Tech (Lateral Entry) program, the candidates must qualify the entrance examination conducted by the university. The candidates are finally shortlisted based on the merit in the qualifying examination.
- For admission to B. Arch, the candidates must qualify National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
- Admission to the rest of the undergraduate programs such as B. Sc, BCA, B. Com, B. Voc, BA, and BBA is done based on the merit in the last qualifying examination. The university releases cut off list based on which the candidates are shortlisted.
Admission to the Postgraduate Programs
Kalasalingam University offers various programs at the postgraduate level.
- Admission to the M. Tech program requires qualifying KUEE or GATE examination.
- Admission to the rest of the courses such as M. Arch, MA, MBA, MCA and MSW is done based on the candidates' performance in the last qualifying examination.
- The university releases cut off list based on which the candidates are shortlisted for admission to the undergraduate programs.
Admission to M. Phil and PhD Program
The university offers a PhD program at the Doctorate level in full time and part time.
- Admission to the PhD program requires qualifying an entrance examination followed by a personal interview round conducted by the Department Research Committee.
- This procedure is generally conducted between January and June month of the year.
The candidates are shortlisted based on the cut off list generated by the university where candidates' performance in the entrance examination along with personal interview round is considered.
Kalasalingam University Application Process
In order to apply for the courses offered by Kalasalingam University, candidates can go for online application form and follow the steps mentioned below:

- Register yourself by entering all the relevant details. Registration details will be sent to the registered mobile number and email id.
- Fill the online application form by logging in with the registration id sent to you.
- Upload the relevant documents such as passport sized photograph and signature.
- Process the payment of application fee through any online payment gateway.
- Crosscheck all the details filled in by you and submit the form.

Minimum Educational Qualification
The candidates must ensure that they fulfill the minimum educational qualification required by the university.
For Undergraduate Programs
- Candidates seeking admission to the B. Tech program must have passed senior secondary school from any recognized board of education securing at least 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
- ‘NIOS' candidates are also eligible to apply for admission to B. Tech program.
- Candidates appearing in MPC can also apply for admission.
- For admission to B. Tech (Lateral Entry), the candidates must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in pre final and final semester in Diploma course. The Diploma course must have been completed in the relevant field in order to be eligible to apply.
- Admission to B. Arch requires qualifying senior secondary school from any recognized board of education with Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics/Biology securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to B. Sc, the candidates must have passed 10+2 from science stream.
- For admission to B. Com, B. Voc, BA, and BBA, the candidates must have passed senior secondary school securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Admission to BCA requires qualifying senior secondary school with Mathematics as a main subject securing at least 50% in aggregate.
For Postgraduate Programs
- Candidates seeking admission to M. Tech must possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant field BE/B. Tech securing at least 60% marks.
- Admission to M. Arch and M. Sc requires a bachelor's degree in the relevant subject securing at least 60% marks in aggregate in the relevant field.
- For admission to MA, MBA, and MSW, the candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in the relevant field with 60% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates seeking admission to the MCA and MCA (lateral entry) program must hold a bachelor's degree with Mathematics as one of the main subjects.
For PhD and M. Phil Program
- Admission to M. Phil program requires candidates to possess a master's degree in the relevant field with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to PhD in Engineering, the candidates are required to possess a master's degree in Engineering/Technology/Business Administration with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates with a degree in MS by Research and M. Sc in Engineering are also eligible to apply for admission to PhD in Engineering.
- Admission to PhD in Sciences/Humanities/Languages requires a master's degree with 60% marks in Sciences/master's degree with 55% marks in Humanities, Social Sciences, or Languages.
