Vemana Institute of Technology, Koramangala, Bangalore was built up in 1999 by Reddy Jana Sangha. It is one of the spearheading institutes in Karnataka, in the field of technical education. VIT UG Admission 2018
VIT offers four-year college course in different parts of Engineering-Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Physics and Engineering Chemistry. Applicants who have passed Karnataka Pre-University exams (PUC) or have passed class 12 from ICSE/CBSE board or some other proportional qualification with 45% marks are qualified to apply.
Candidates should have Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects alongside anyone among Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics. Admissions to B.E courses will be made based on the counselling according to candidates' rank in Karnataka CET/COMED-K Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET).
VIT PG Admission 2018
At postgraduate level, Vemana Institute of Technology offers a two-year Masters program in the discipline of Computer Science and Engineering, VLSI Design and Embedded Systems and Machine Design. According to the rules of the university, candidates must hold Bachelor's in Technology/Engineering with minimum 50% marks. Admissions to the M.Tech program will be made based on candidates' score in Karnataka Post Graduation Common Entrance Test (KPGCET).
