The course aims at expanding the basic principles of the subject to provide deep advanced knowledge.
During the course, the student must secure minimum 50% marks in each course with all heads of passing taken together and minimum 50% marks in the end semester examination to complete the course.
Student has to choose two professional elective courses from those offered by the department in the semester.
Assessment criteria laboratory/Tutorial shall be as follows:
(i) Attendance in Laboratory/Tutorial= 20%,
(ii) Journal/Drawing sheet = 40%,
(iii) MCQ/Oral/Test = 40%.

Admission Details
Admission Procedure
- The candidate needs to submit the online application form at the official website of DTE and in-person confirmation of application form at ARC for GATE candidates.
- Online Submission and Confirmation of Option form for CAP Round by all the candidates.
- Reporting to the institute as per allotment in Counseling Round
Minimum Eligibility
The candidate must have scored a minimum of 55% marks in B.E. /B.Tech or equivalent in appropriate branches (50% marks for SC /ST) and must have appeared for the GATE exam.
