NSHM Knowledge Campus Details

NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata was established in the academic year of 1997. NSHM basically stands for four Latin words i.e. Notabilis, Sociatrix, Humanus, and Maxime when combined together means “Noteworthy Collaboration for Best Development of Humankind. The institute was built to fulfill the purpose of imparting knowledge to different segments of society. NSHM Knowledge Campus is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (previously known as West Bengal University of Technology) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata was ranked as one of the best colleges in India by India Today and Outlook magazines. These ranks were given in the field of Mass Communication.

The infrastructure of the institute is quite decent and provide all the basic amenities to the students. The campus of Durgapur and Kolkata institutes comprise of following,

Durgapur Campus:

Besides, the campus of NSHM, Kolkata consist of two buildings namely NSHM College of Pharmaceutical Technology and NSHM College of Management and Technology. the infrastructure of the institute is the latest and well maintained. The classrooms are furnished and ventilated properly with adequate space and seating to accommodate enough number of students and are equipped with a projector. The laboratories have highly equipped instruments like autoclave, tablet compressor, and NMR spectroscopy device. The concerned authorities of the institute try to keep a balance between academics and extracurriculars. Students find it convenient to travel to the institute as it is well connected to the city. transportation. Library of the institute consists of several informative books of the latest edition. Hostel facilities are provided for the students coming from out of the city.

NSHM Knowledge Campus Courses include programs offered at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Programs offered by the institute at the undergraduate level are B. Sc, BBA, BCA, BTTM, BHM, BHMCT, B. Optom, and B. Pharm and the programs offered at the postgraduate level are M. Sc, MPH, MHA, MTTM, M. Optom, MBA, PGDM, and M. Pharm. There are various specializations to the programs offered by the institute.

For admission to the programs, the candidates must register themselves by visiting the official website of the institute and must ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the university. NSHM Knowledge Campus Admission procedure needs to be completed online. The basic points which one should consider for admission to NSHM are as following:

  • For the candidates seeking admission to any of the undergraduate programs must ensure that they have passed senior secondary school in the relevant field from a recognized board.
  • For admission to the postgraduate program, the aspirants must possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field, that too from a recognized university.

To get admission, the interested candidates must qualify the respective entrance examinations conducted at the national and state level.

The NSHM Knowledge Campus Placements have seen a decent increase over the past few years. The candidates are shortlisted based on their academic performance and their participation in various events conducted at the institute campus. Placement: Placement of the college is good

Placement: The placements are very good nearly 85%.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful. They are also well and highly qualified.
College: College infra is good as the labs are well developed. The classrooms are airy and well developed. well designed college, with good faculty and nice placements.
