National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Details

National Institute of Fashion Technology Hyderabad is one of the oldest NIFT campuses which was established in 1995 in a temporary location and moved to a permanent campus in 1999. NIFT is approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fashion designing and Continuing Education Programme.

National Institute of Fashion Technology Courses

NIFT Hyderabad offers various courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level such as B. Des, B. FTech and MFM. NIFT also offers some short term courses known as Continuing Education Programme in which the focus is on Fashion Clothing & Technology, Indian Fashion & Apparel Boutique Management and Contemporary Ethic Wear. Following are the courses offered along with their eligibility and duration.

National Institute of Fashion Technology ,Hyderabad Admission 

  1. Candidates who want to seek admission in any of the courses offered by NIFT Hyderabad first need to qualify the entrance exam conducted by National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT Exam). 
  2. They can register themselves on https://www.nift.ac.in/admission.
  3. Candidates need to carefully read the admission guidelines available on the official website to avoid any errors while filling the form. 
  4. Online registration for 2022 admission has begun from 3rd December 2021 and the last date for registration is 17th January 2022.
  5.  The entrance examination consists of three parts namely CAT (Creative Ability Test), GAT (General Ability Test) and the final round Situation Test /Group Discussion / Personal Interview which takes place around April
  6. Last date for late registration is 18th Jan to 22nd Jan with late fees of 5000. 
  7. NIFT entrance exam will take place on 6th February for all UG and PG programs. 
  8. Result of the date will come out by Mid march. 
  9. The counselling begins by May-June.
