M S Ramaiah Medical College also known as Ramaiah Medical College or RMC was established in the year 1979 at Bangalore, Karnataka as a private medical college. RMC is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. Later in the year 1984, the college established its own hospital named, Ramaiah Medical College Hospital, to meet the need for training the coming generation of doctors. The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and offers Under Graduate, Post Graduate degree and diploma, Super Specialty courses, and Research programmes in the field of medical sciences. Ramaiah Medical College is spread over an area of 65 acres and comprises on Ramaiah Dental College, College of Pharmacy, Institute of Physiotherapy and College of Nursing.
