Jai Hind College, founded in 1948, is a prestigious autonomous college situated in Mumbai. It is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and operates as both a junior college and a regular degree college. Jai Hind College, Mumbai provides MSc and MCom courses in Science and Commerce at the postgraduate level. MSc is available in various fields, whereas MCom is only available as a foundation course. Admission to both programs is determined by a candidate’s performance on the prior qualifying test. MCom in Advanced Accountancy is available at Jai Hind College. Every year, 60 students are accepted into the two-year full-time program. Admission is dependent on the results of prior qualifying tests. It gives a comprehensive understanding of accounting and associated areas such as finance, commerce, management, ethics and CSR, and research.
