Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad Admission
Institute of Public Enterprise offers programs at the postgraduate level and the Doctorate level. The courses offered by the institute are PGDM and MBA at postgraduate level and Ph.D. at Doctorate level. The institute was established to fulfill the aim of imparting higher education in the field of management and research and it serves as a platform for the students to pursue their career in respective fields. The institute accepts both online and offline mode of application. Candidates seeking admission to any of the courses offered by the institute must visit the official website of the institute in order to fill the application form.
Candidates who are willing to take admission in Institute of Public Enterprise must fulfill the minimum educational qualification defined by the institute. Institute of Public Enterprise Courses include programs offered at the postgraduate level.
Minimum Educational Requirement
- Candidates seeking admission to PGDM must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. 5% marks relaxation is given to the candidates belonging to Reserved categories.
- For admission to MBA, the candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field securing at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) in aggregate from a recognized university. in addition to this, the candidates must hold the relevant work experience at Managerial/Executive/Administrative or Supervisory level.
- Candidates seeking admission to Ph.D. must hold PG Diploma or Master’s degree in the relevant field securing at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) in aggregate from a recognized university.
- Candidates with M. Phil degree are also eligible to apply for the Ph.D. program.
- Candidates with valid score in JRF/NET can also apply for the same.
Admission to PGDM and MBA at Institute of Public Enterprise
The institute offers a Postgraduate Diploma course in different fields of Management. The main aim of the institute is to provide higher education in the field of management. It also offers part-time MBA in Public Enterprise. The admission procedure varies for each other.
- Candidates seeking admission to PGDM must hold a valid score in CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT or ATMA entrance examinations. Shortlisting of the candidates is done based on their performance in these examinations followed by personal interview and group discussion rounds conducted by the institute.
- For part-time MBA, the in-service candidates who have qualified ICET followed by counseling conducted by the affiliating university are shortlisted based on their performance. (This program is designed by the university certainly for the working candidates)
Admission to Ph.D. at Institute of Public Enterprise
The program is offered at the Doctorate level in Social Sciences and General Management specializations. Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in UGC NET.
- Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. program must qualify UGC NET examination. In addition to it, candidates’ performance in a research aptitude test followed by presentation is also considered for admission.
- Candidates with a valid score in JRF or the candidates who hold an M. Phil degree are also eligible to apply for the Ph.D. program.
- Total sanctioned intake for the Ph.D. program is 10 and candidates must not exceed 30 years of age.
Application procedure of Institute of Public Enterprise
The institute accepts offline and online mode of application. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the institute and register themselves. Since the institute accepts both online and offline mode of application, the application form of PGDM/MBA and Ph.D. can be filled online or offline.
- For online mode, the candidates must visit the official website and apply online to fill the application form.
- Candidates must ensure that all the personal and academic details must be filled correctly, and the required documents are uploaded.
- Payment of INR 500 as application fee must be processed while filling the application form. The fee can be paid via net banking, credit card or debit card.
For offline mode, the application form can be obtained from the admission office of the institute. Payment of INR 500 as application fee can be made via Demand Draft.
