Admission in B.Sc., B.Com., B.A.:

  • The candidates seeking admission in Under Graduate courses offered by City College Kolkata must have passed class XII with relevant subjects from the board recognized by the University of Calcutta i.e. WBCHSE/ ISC/ CBSE/ NIOS/ WBCROS.
  • Admissions are provided on the basis of candidate's performance in the qualifying examination.
  • The candidate must possess a minimum of 50 percent aggregate in class XII.
  • The candidate must also possess a minimum of 45 percent aggregate in the relevant subject.
  • A relaxation of 5 percent is provided to the candidates of the reserved category.
  • Only those candidates who have passed class XII in 2018 or 2019 can apply for admission.
  • The candidate must have studied English as a mandatory subject in class XII.
  • The candidates of SC/ ST category who are from other states will be considered as the General Category candidates by the College.

Established in 1881 city college is the oldest college in our city and that is why everyone in the city wants to join this college and that makes this college a 10 on 10 college their education, student environment and many other things are all awesome here.

Situated in Kolkata, admission to BCom course is based on 12th class score. Infrastructure is fine. Canteen of the college is not so good.
