Bannari Amman Institute of Technology was founded in 1996 by the Bannari Amman Group in Tamil Nadu's Erode. The college has been recognized by All India Council for Technical Education and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. It was ranked among the top 100 engineering colleges of India by NIRF in 2019. The college has also been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The college has been resolute in providing students with innovative ideas so that they can excel in their academic pursuits. BIT offers courses in engineering and management at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels.
