Medical aspirants and their families have been asked by Rajasthan Police to be aware of possible cyber fraud related to the NEET-UG 2025 exam. According to the Rajasthan cybercrime division and the National Board of Examinations, scammers are attempting to mislead parents and students of money by stating that the NEET paper has been leaked online and is available for purchase.
According to an official statement, it has been made clear that this examination process is very confidential and safe, and there is no chance of a paper leak. All medical colleges in the country conduct the NEET-UG exam to candidates for undergraduate medical education. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is in charge of it. Scammers are attempting to scam the people out of millions of rupees by spreading false information about the paper via the Telegram app and social media platforms, according to Director General of Police (Cyber Crime) Hemant Priyadarshi.
The senior police official noted that the exam is scheduled on May 4 nationwide and that students and their parents are becoming more concerned as a result of the spreading of misleading information regarding the paper leak. In the statement, Priyadarshi claimed that several fake Telegram channels had been set up in order to commit fraud before the examination.
He noticed there is a channel called "NEET PG Leaked Materials" that is active and has over 20,600 members. Scammers are requesting between Rs 50,000 and Rs 70,000 from students through these means, he said. The DGP asked that any suspicious screenshots, group links, bank account, UPI ID, and wallet details be shared with the nearest police station, cyber crime reporting portal, or cyber helpline number 1930. He also cautioned candidates and their families not to share information such as roll numbers or bank details with anybody.
